When you open linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / common ground wire, short to ground mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'b' / 'c', voltage correlation and engine speed input, circuit error message from engine contr. is the final reason of the code. |
28510 Possible Causes:
28510 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low

What To Check After Fixing 28510 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 1/2 lambda probes before kat exchanges
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
