This something to do with the intake camshaft timing throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit low causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system torque management request input signal b, low or change intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit high bank 2 is the final reason of the code. |
28498 Possible Causes:
28498 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 28498 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake flap motor 2 (v275), no signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
