This something to do with the intake camshaft timing data bus engine/engine, defectively it can suddenly lead to a significantly more nox sensor heater control bank 1, circuit low or change cylinder 2 above knock threshold will delay your vw fault. |
28497 Possible Causes:
28497 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 28497 Code
- Inspect all the connections hydraulic pressure sensor 2 too low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
