The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault oxygen sensor b1 s1: heating circuit regulation at upper limit, lower limit exceeded mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust gas recirculation cooling valve control, circuit / open or exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit intermittent / erratic is the final reason of the code. |
28494 Possible Causes:
28494 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28494 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'b' / 'c', voltage correlation
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
