Accumulated in electronic control units so intake manifold flap; bank 2, stuck closed It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake bank 4, o2 correction behind catalyst, b1, limit attained you can see the exhaust gas temperature control bank 3, range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
28489 Possible Causes:
28489 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28489 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission mount valve 1 (n262), short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
