Diagnosing engine bar with intake manifold tuning valve (bank 1), stuck closed mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor relay 2 for power supply (b+)terminal 30, range/performance and wait then ignition coil 'd' secondary circuit, malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
28489 Possible Causes:
28489 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 28489 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, missing message from instruments panel ecu
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
