Diagnosing engine bar with exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit intermittent causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit range / performance and wait then throttle/fuel inhibit, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
28488 Possible Causes:
28488 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 28488 Code
- Inspect all the connections air flow restriction / air leak between air filter and maf
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
