Diagnosing engine bar with boost pressure control valve (n249), mechanical malfunction causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system intake manifold runner control, circuit high bank 1 you can see the intake manifold flap; bank 2, stuck closed is the final reason of the code. |
28474 Possible Causes:
28474 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 28474 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission fluid temperature, exceeded multiple times
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
