This something to do with the intake camshaft timing throttle plate control 2, malfunction It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit also evaporative emission system switching valve control, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
28472 Possible Causes:
28472 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 28472 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3 main catalyst, effectiveness too low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
