The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), open / short to ground run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed relays for pump, fuel cooling (j445), short-circuit after pluses and exhaust bank 3 oxygen sensor before catalyst, heater circuit, regulation at upper limit will delay your vw fault. |
28470 Possible Causes:
28470 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28470 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, pump current, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
