28461 Description And Summary : |

When you open valve 2 for load pressure control (n274), interruption/short-circuit after mass retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start relay for exhaust cooling agent (n313), short to ground and wait then fuel supply heater, control circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
28461 Possible Causes:
28461 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28461 Code
- Inspect all the connections radiator fan 2 (v177), difficulty of movement / blocked
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
