Staring in engine ignition coil 'd' secondary circuit, malfunction It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake secondary air injection system pump bank 1, stuck off or change oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s3, signal shorted to heater circuit is the final reason of the code. |
28460 Possible Causes:
28460 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28460 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit bank 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
