28457 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing coolant circulation pump relay (j151), short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), electrical malfunction . So for next relays for coolant additive pump (j496), short to ground is the final reason of the code. |

28457 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction

- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent

What To Check After Fixing 28457 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector control pressure, too low - engine cranking
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
