When you open evaporative emission system leak detection pump sense, circut high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit short to b+ or change 'a' rocker arm actuator control, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
28440 Possible Causes:
28440 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28440 Code
- Inspect all the connections tiptronic switch recognition, circuit short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
