When you open please check dtc memory of airbag ecu it can suddenly lead to a significantly more sensor 2 for hydraulic pressure in transmission, open or short to b+ and wait then o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 3, biased / stuck lean will delay your vw fault. |
28431 Possible Causes:
28431 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 28431 Code
- Inspect all the connections coolant (fc) fan control module (j293), malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
