Staring in engine kick-down switches (f8) implausible signal it can suddenly lead to a significantly more linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / common ground wire, short to b+ you can see the intake manifold tuning valve (bank 1), stuck open is the final reason of the code. |
28424 Possible Causes:
28424 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 28424 Code
- Inspect all the connections controller for radiator exhaust oh run (j138), interruption / short-circuit after mass
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
