This something to do with the intake camshaft timing diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'b', circuit intermittent / erratic mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit electrical malfunction also automatic glow time control module 2 (j609), circuit electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
28424 Possible Causes:
28424 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 28424 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant / regeneration supply control, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
