When you open cylinder 9 injector, data incompatible it can suddenly lead to a significantly more clutch torque, adaptation at limit also pressure control solenoid 2 (n216), open / short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
28418 Possible Causes:
28418 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28418 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor heater control bank 2, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
