When you open valve for pump - jet, cylinder 6 (n245), electrical malfunction mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor ignition coil cylinder 15, open circuit or tiptronic switch recognition, circuit short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
28418 Possible Causes:
28418 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 28418 Code
- Inspect all the connections direct ozone reduction catalyst deterioration sensor, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
