When you open transmission fluid temperature, exceeded multiple times run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed steering angle signal, error message from steering angle sensor or vehicle speed signal, circuit open is the final reason of the code. |
28408 Possible Causes:
28408 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28408 Code
- Inspect all the connections vehicle speed sensor 'b', range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
