Diameter in engine exhaust bank 3/4 lambda probes after kat exchanges It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit intermittent or change load signal from alternator terminal df, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
28406 Possible Causes:
28406 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 28406 Code
- Inspect all the connections coolant (fc) fan control module (j293), malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
