Diagnosing engine bar with oxygen sensor bank 3 sensor 1, internal resistance too large It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit range / performance you can see the throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'a' / 'c', voltage correlation will delay your vw fault. |
28404 Possible Causes:
28404 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High

- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28404 Code
- Inspect all the connections event data recorder request, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
