This something to do with the intake camshaft timing reductant temperature sensor, circuit low to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 1, biased / stuck rich or change accelerator position sensor 2 (g185), signal too low will delay your vw fault. |
28401 Possible Causes:
28401 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28401 Code
- Inspect all the connections vehicle speed signal, error message from instrument cluster
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
