This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, tension too largely run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed oxygen (lambda) sensor b3 s1, heater return coupling or change data-bus powertrain, missing message from brake control module is the final reason of the code. |
28398 Possible Causes:
28398 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 28398 Code
- Inspect all the connections starter interlock, circuit short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
