Staring in engine reversing light, circuit short to b+ mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor data bus powertrain, missing messages and wait then starter relay 1, electrical malfunction in circuit (relay stuck / does not switch) is the final reason of the code. |
28397 Possible Causes:
28397 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28397 Code
- Inspect all the connections load signal stuck on
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
