Diameter in engine event data recorder request, circuit low to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so ignition switch run/start position, circuit and wait then charge pressure fan relay (j712), short to ground+ will delay your vw fault. |
28396 Possible Causes:
28396 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28396 Code
- Inspect all the connections pre-catalyst exhaust bank 4 effect too small
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
