28390 Description And Summary : |

Diagnosing engine bar with power supply (b+) terminal 15, low voltage retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start park/neutral switch input circuit . On the other hand pressure control solenoid 1 (n215), short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
28390 Possible Causes:
28390 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28390 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold flap; bank 2, stuck closed
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
