28388 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault injector cylinder 14 (n391), circuit high to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so pressure control valve 1 (n215), open / short to ground you can see the diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'a', circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
28388 Possible Causes:
28388 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 28388 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner control: open stop outside of valid range
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
