The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault intake manifold flap position sensor (bank 1): implausible signal run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed throttle actuator control module, performance and wait then linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / common ground wire, short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
28387 Possible Causes:
28387 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 28387 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector cylinder 13 (n390), circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
