28385 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit low voltage run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), open or short to ground or load signal from alternator terminal df, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
28385 Possible Causes:
28385 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28385 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission output speed sensor 2 (g196), circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
