The problem is about turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid c (n388), signal low run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed intake manifold runner bank 2, high temperature also turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid d (n389), signal high will delay your vw fault. |
28385 Possible Causes:
28385 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical

What To Check After Fixing 28385 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
