This something to do with the intake camshaft timing hydraulic pressure sensor 1, too high It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake powertrain data bus, missing message from instrument cluster or please check dtc memory of instrument panel ecu is the final reason of the code. |
28381 Possible Causes:
28381 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 28381 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
