The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault 'a rocker arm actuator control, circuit / open causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system transmission coolant circuit relay, short to ground or throttle position output, circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |
28380 Possible Causes:
28380 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28380 Code
- Inspect all the connections accelerator pedal position sensor 1 (g79), power supply malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
