When you open control module defective mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), open / short to ground you can see the secondary air injection system bank 1, high air flow is the final reason of the code. |
28371 Possible Causes:
28371 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 28371 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector control pressure, too high - engine off
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
