This something to do with the intake camshaft timing relay for supply voltage terminal 30 (j317), implausible signal it can suddenly lead to a significantly more fuel rail sensor (g401), short to ground or change barometric pressure sensor 'a', circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
28357 Possible Causes:
28357 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 28357 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 1, exhaust cam wave position sensor (g300) / crankshaft position sensor (g28), wrong allocation
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
