This something to do with the intake camshaft timing transmission fluid temperature, exceeded multiple times mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit high bank 2 also data bus powertrain, implausible message from control module level control is the final reason of the code. |
28355 Possible Causes:
28355 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 28355 Code
- Inspect all the connections malfunction indication light (k83), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
