The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault shift lock, open causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit high and wait then 'a' rocker arm actuator system, performance or stuck off will delay your vw fault. |
28348 Possible Causes:
28348 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 28348 Code
- Inspect all the connections butterfly valve control unit 2 (j544), adaptation not started
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
