This something to do with the intake camshaft timing intake manifold runner control, basic setting not completed retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start turbocharger control module 2, missing message and injector cylinder 14 (n392), open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
28340 Possible Causes:
28340 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 28340 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, implausibly lean
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
