This something to do with the intake camshaft timing o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 2, biased / stuck lean it can suddenly lead to a significantly more generator lamp/l-terminal, circuit low and wait then torque management request input signal a, range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
28338 Possible Causes:
28338 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 28338 Code
