This something to do with the intake camshaft timing control unit error programming error mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, signal too slowly or givers 2 for intake air temperature (g299), signal too largely is the final reason of the code. |
28337 Possible Causes:
28337 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 28337 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
