The problem is about turbo/super charger over-boost condition it can suddenly lead to a significantly more throttle/pedal position sensor 'e', minimum stop performance also coolant circulation pump relay (j151), open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
28331 Possible Causes:
28331 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28331 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'b' primary control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
