The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault signal buzzer activation, short to b+ run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed accelerator pedal position sensor 1 (g79), signal too low and 'b' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on is the final reason of the code. |
28317 Possible Causes:
28317 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28317 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner control, circuit high bank 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
