When you open throttle actuator control system, sudden high air flow detected It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 2, circuit / open and control module 1 for cooling fan, short circuit will delay your vw fault. |
28316 Possible Causes:
28316 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 28316 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emission system switching valve, performance / stuck open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
