Staring in engine bank 1, system too lean off idle retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit high and o2 sensor signals swapped, bank 1 sensor 3 - /bank 2 sensor 3 will delay your vw fault. |
28303 Possible Causes:
28303 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28303 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle actuator control motor, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
