This something to do with the intake camshaft timing sensor 3 for intake air temperature (g520), signal high the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit low and wait then nox sensor bank 1, circuit will delay your vw fault. |
28300 Possible Causes:
28300 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28300 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, implausibly lean
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
