Diagnosing engine bar with evaporative emission system leak detection pump sense, circuit intermittent / erratic It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake fuel pump "a", low flow / performance or relays for electrical fuel pump 2 (j49), interruption/short-circuit after mass is the final reason of the code. |
28298 Possible Causes:
28298 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28298 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbocharger boost control position sensor, circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
