Staring in engine exhaust bank 4 oxygen sensor before catalyst, heater circuit, regulation at lower limit It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake fuel injection valve 2 (n367), short to ground also secondary air injection system pump bank 1, stuck off is the final reason of the code. |
28298 Possible Causes:
28298 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 28298 Code
- Inspect all the connections sensor 2 for hydraulic pressure in transmission, open or short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
