28297 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ignition coil 'e' primary control, circuit low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start starter relay 2, electrical malfunction in circuit (relay stuck / does not switch) and wait then turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid c (n388), signal high is the final reason of the code. |

28297 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 28297 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel mixture control adjustment range 2, higher limit not reached
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
