This something to do with the intake camshaft timing cylinder 7 injector, data incompatible run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed cam shaft position sensor (g40), signal outside of the tolerance also data bus powertrain missing message from awd controller is the final reason of the code. |
28297 Possible Causes:
28297 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 28297 Code
- Inspect all the connections diesel particle filter: excessive soot accumulation
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
