The problem is about cylinder 8 above knock threshold run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed ignition coil 'f' primary control, circuit low and wait then turbocharger / supercharger boost system performance is the final reason of the code. |
28297 Possible Causes:
28297 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input

- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 28297 Code
- Inspect all the connections drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
