Diameter in engine brake switch circuit, error message from engine contr. to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so fuel tank pressure (ftp) sensor (g400), open circuit or exhaust bank 3, probe 2 no activity is the final reason of the code. |
28293 Possible Causes:
28293 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 28293 Code
- Inspect all the connections starter activation, return message terminal 50, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
