Staring in engine intake manifold runner bank 1, high temperature retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start o2 sensor reference voltage bank 1 sensor 1, circuit / open or change air leak between maf and throttle body will delay your vw fault. |
28290 Possible Causes:
28290 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 28290 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector control pressure, too high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
