The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault controller for radiator exhaust oh run (j138), short-circuit after pluses It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake control module 1 for cooling fan, short circuit or radiator fan 2 (v177), difficulty of movement / blocked will delay your vw fault. |
28289 Possible Causes:
28289 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 28289 Code
- Inspect all the connections vehicle speed sensor 'b', intermittent / erratic / high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
