The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault generator lamp/l-terminal, circuit low run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit range / performance or fuel injection valve 2 (n367), open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
28285 Possible Causes:
28285 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction

- Inspect all the connections vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
