This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust bank 4 main catalyst, effectiveness too low to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so evaporative emission system vent (n115), valve stuck open and wait then control module defect is the final reason of the code. |
28281 Possible Causes:
28281 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 28281 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor out of range during deceleration bank 2 sensor 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
