This something to do with the intake camshaft timing nox sensor heater sense bank 2, circuit range / performance run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed idle speed control throttle position 2, electrical malfunction and wait then exhaust pressure sensor, low is the final reason of the code. |
28278 Possible Causes:
28278 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 28278 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbo/super charger, under-boost condition
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
