This something to do with the intake camshaft timing control module for coolant fan 3 fan activation, short circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system ignition coil 'i' primary control, short to plus or injector cylinder 16 (n393), open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
28269 Possible Causes:
28269 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28269 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust turbocharger control module 1 (j724), voltage supply outside permissible range
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
